John Morrison was lying on his couch at home, in tears. He'd been there for a few hours since getting home from work. Instead of being on their usual ECW show Miz and Morrison, along with all the other Superstars, had been on Raw for the annual draft. Miz had been in a match against Kofi Kingston which, thanks to Morrison, he lost. This resulted in Miz being drafted to Raw, which meant he was separated from his partner and also meant the end of their tag team.
Morrison sobbed and a fresh lot of tears streamed down his face as he remembered their last moment as a tag team.

~~~
'The Miz turned and looked at his long haired tag partner, John Morrison, who was slowly turning his own eyes away from the horrible message on the titantron screen 'The Miz has been drafted to Raw'. They stared at each other in shock, both unable to hide the fact that they were upset as they realised what had happened.
"I'm sorry Miz..."
"Its fine, it doesn't matter..." Miz said in a tone that wasn't very reassuring.
"I didn't mean to get you disqualified...I had no choice..." Morrison said as they embraced each other in front of all the fans, the commentators and even the camera people.
"It's done now Jomo...The Dirt Sheet's over." Miz told him instead of letting Morrison explain.
The fans were cheering at the display of friendship and the commentators were saying something, but neither of them heard a word of it.
Morrison went to explain after Miz released him from the hug; as they stood there, staring at each other, but he never got a chance. In the split second after ending the hug, Miz kicked Morrison in the gut before hitting him with his finishing move and leaving his partner, hurt and in tears, as the now solo Miz walked up the ramp and away from the ring.'
~~~

His stomach still hurt from Miz's kick and his head was spinning, despite the medical team that had been waiting for him backstage saying he'd be fine before he reached home. Morrison hadn't seen Miz since he'd been attacked by him. He hoped that Miz just needed to calm down and that it hadn't hurt their off screen relationship; after all Miz had only done it for the entertainment of the fans...hadn't he?

~~~
'Morrison got up long after Miz had left the ring. He avoided looking at the cameras, not wanting anyone to see that he was in tears. The show had gone into a break  so most of the fans had got out of their seats to get food and drinks,  but Morrison was sure that some of them at ringside had seen the tears and he vaguely remembered some of them asking if he was ok.
As soon as he was backstage, a group of medics surrounded him to see if he was ok. The annoyed him as they shined their lights on him and forced him to cooperate when all he wanted to do was find Miz. When they finally let him go they told him he had a minor concussion but would be fine before reaching home, not that he cared what they said, he was determined to find his partner before leaving.
"Hey man, you look terrible..."
Morrison sighed as John Cena came up to him and put his arm around the other John's shoulders. They had barely spoken since Morrison started avoiding him, so Morrison had no idea why he was bothering.
"Yeah I'm aware of that Cena. Now can you let me go...?" Morrison said angrily as he tried to shove Cena's arm off his shoulders.
"Hey come on John! What did I do wrong? You just stopped talking to me one day..." Cena said, not letting him go.
Morrison sighed and tried to pry himself away from Cena's arm to no success and was just getting more annoyed, knowing Miz could have already left while he was stuck pointlessly explaining himself to Cena.
"Look, you didn't do anything wrong Cena, but if you don't let me go right now then the reason I don't talk to you will be gone...if I don't get to explain myself to him, he may even be gone forever!" Morrison suddenly snapped at him, causing Cena to slowly let him go, looking down at the ground.
Morrison stood there for a few seconds in shock, realising he had just accidently revealed his secret to his old friend.
"Oh..." Cena slowly said as he figured out what Morrison had just said. He looked up to say something to the long haired John that he still considered a friend, but Morrison had already run off.
"Damn..." Was all Cena could say, shaking his head slowly in disbelief.
"Mike? Mike...?" Morrison called as he ran around backstage, searching for Miz. He'd decided to call Miz by his real name, as most Superstars did, to avoid any other moments like the one he'd just had with Cena.
He passed a few Superstars during his search, including Kofi, who'd just laughed at him and said "He ain't coming to you after you made him lose!" and Chris Jericho who just slowly applauded him saying "Well done junior, you screwed up big..." Morrison tried to ignore them all, but for some reason the ones that hurt him most were the ones who said nothing and just watched him in his desperate search.
He was about to give up after ten minutes of searching and finding yet another Miz free corridor, when he turned a corner not looking and crashed into somebody, almost falling over. Morrison felt a pair of hands on his face as he steadied himself and was suddenly hopeful that he'd found The Miz. Then he realised the grip was too strong and hurting slightly, his eyes widening in fear as the hands forced him to look up at their owner's face.
"You again?" Morrison groaned in frustration, knowing there was no chance of slipping away like he did with Cena.
"Oh yes and may I say you did a great job out there in the ring..."
"How could you be so cruel Edge? You know I didn't want to do that!" Morrison snapped, still being forced to look the long haired Canadian in the eyes.
"Yes, but you had to because I told you to. Otherwise I'll tell everybody about your secret, remember?"
"And now you're stopping me from finding him..." Morrison accidently let slip as tears built up in his eyes again.
"Oh, am I?" Edge asked innocently before flashing his evil grin. "Well too bad, looks like he's going to leave before you can explain to him how mean I am..." He added in a tone usually used when talking to babies.
"Please...just let me go find him..." Morrison pleaded.
Edge went to say something back to him, but was interrupted when someone else came around the corner into the corridor.
"Adam let Morrison go!"
"Randy, what a nice surprise! Have you come to join us?" Edge asked the person behind Morrison.
"Orton...? Orton please make him let me go..." Morrison sobbed. "I need to find Miz..."
"Adam just leave him alone, you've already done enough damage today," Orton said angrily, shoving the Ultimate Opportunist away from his friend. "You're lucky I don't report you to Vince for harassing others backstage!"
Edge made a rude gesture at Orton before giving the 'I'm watching you' one to Morrison. He then flashed his evil grin again before fleeing the scene.
"You ok John?" Orton asked worriedly as he wiped away some of his friend's tears.
"Where's Miz?" Was all Morrison managed to say.
"Oh John..." Orton said softly, hugging him. "I'm sorry, I tried to stall him...but he's already gone to the hotel..."
Morrison struggled to keep in more tears as he realised Edge had successfully made him too late, finally forcing out the word "When?"
"Only a few minutes ago...I came looking for you straight after. Jericho told me you'd come down this way..."
"We have to get to the hotel Randy..." Morrison said, in control of himself once more.
Orton just nodded and led the way to the carpark, knowing Morrison wasn't in a state to drive.'
~~~

"Oh John, I still can't believe you haven't told Miz about Edge..." Orton said, sitting on the floor beside the couch. He offered a glass of water to Morrison, who just shook his head and laid there looking at his friend; red eyed and exhausted both emotionally and physically.
"He'd go psycho if I did..." Morrison mumbled.
"But it would've made this easier..." The tall, tattooed Superstar told his friend. He'd stuck with Morrison after driving him to the hotel they'd all been staying at, only to find Miz had already packed his bags and left.

~~~
'Morrison broke down then, no longer even able to stand, and sat on the hotel room floor crying. Orton didn't want to abandon his friend while he was like this so he'd called his wife and told her he couldn't be home for a few more days because he needed to help a friend; as much as Orton wanted to see his family, his friend needed him.
Morrison didn't want to be left on his own that night so Orton had grabbed his bags from his hotel room and slept on the couch in the room that Morrison had been sharing with Miz.'
~~~

The two of them both figured Miz had gone to his own house, which was in the same neighbourhood as Morrison's but they decided that, as much as it hurt Morrison, they were better off leaving Miz alone until he decided he was ready to return. If he really was at his house, he was both so close to them and yet so far away, making Orton think 'I hope he's hurting as much as Morrison is...'  as he sadly watched his friend, who hadn't slept or eaten since before the draft, realising he couldn't really do much more to help than he already had.
done in only a few hours...because its writing (even though its sad) i feel slightly better than i did before i started...

My version of that evil draft...
